UK Meet: Interest Barometer - The Edit Button Works?

Postby Andrew_tM » March 3rd, 2008, 1:32 pm

As a general pondering, following on from my thread a few weeks ago about TDZK meets.

Was idly wondering if at some indefinite date and place to be determined or not depending on any reaction, people in the UK fancied doing one of those old-fashioned meeting things.

Just testing the waters and all that, but could be good.

I'm going to try harder this time, as I'd love to meet some of you guys. On the condition that it's held in London or not very far away, obviously ;)

I'd be interested, I never went to any of the TDZK meets and feel a bit like I missed out :(

Fabulous work at killing another thread, but I was actually genuine with this. I'll ask a few people, see if anyone's interested and then get someone else to organise it.

That sounds dangerously like my entire life.

I'm surprised there wasn't more of a response to this, usually first applicants turn up in hordes, then gradually drop out to leave a smaller group. Where is everyone?

Reue and potentially Black_Mariah + Drdolots + Indeh_Fish would be up for it. I could prob convince some others as well.

As there's more numbers here now I could potentially open my contact list or just start messaging people.

As an inspired idea, I changed the title of this thread to be less cryptic. That may help.

EDIT: Either I'm a moron or there's no way to change titles (not necessarily mutually exclusive). But I merged everything into a slightly different named thread.

Contrary to popular belief, you won't snap out of existence if you leave Hull :P

Considering a somewhat positive response I may look more into this. Watch this space, etc.

Generally I find that the more effort you put into going out, the more reward you get out of it.

Pfff should of told me bowt this :P we can always seem to scramble people together for these sorts of things :P

Joti is coming to London in 2009 (i wanna say in May, but i can't really remember when we talked about), anyway we were gonna organise a big meet for then, can probably guarantee most of us fools from the other uk meets would be showing, i'd dare say ender and wolvie would be there for sure, and hal probably still has his free travel :P

and whoever said they're from york, i'm from durham, even further biatch :P and i've been to TWO birmingham meets, honestly, the trip is worth it, and i think when atm came to the first one he came down from durham uni right? or were u at abersgydhgb, jsfjkfs then?

id be up for it :)
and i'd drag hal the lonely emo <3

Partly because i know my way around brum
